Under the night sky of Ma’anshan, Anhui, stands a cultural and tourism landmark that becomes increasingly dazzling with each passing night—the Yangtze River City That Never Sleeps. Embracing the “Thousand Mile Yangtze River Scroll,” it employs lighting as its brush and technology as its ink to depict the grandeur and vitality of Yangtze River culture. As the stage lighting supplier for this city that never sleeps, we were fortunate to participate in and witness the creation of this feast of light and shadow. Today, we share our collaborative journey in illuminating the story of the Yangtze River with light.

Provide design services

This giant landscape wall, 12 meters high and 375.7 meters long, condenses the urban customs and historical context of the areas along the Yangtze River.

Our team customized a iluminação de palco scheme with both a sense of hierarchy and delicacy according to the three-dimensional structure and miniature landscape characteristics of the wall: Warm white stage lighting was used to highlight the antique charm of ancient buildings; gradient colored stage lighting to simulate the agility of the Yangtze River’s flow; and spotlights—a key element of stage lighting—to focus on the details of folk sculptures.Let’s take a look at the lighting performance.

We not only adjusted stage lighting parameters and optimized stage lighting optical path designs according to different performance scenarios but also dispatched a technical team to follow up the internal testing and opening operations of stage lighting throughout the process—ensuring zero failure of the stage lighting equipment under high-intensity use.

The perfect IP 420W beam lights and IP WASH1940 wall washers stage lights

The “Thousand Miles of the Yangtze River Scroll” landscape wall has become a landmark check-in point thanks to the powerful combination of 600 IP 420W beam lights and 600 IP WASH1940 moving head wall washers. This massive 375.7-meter-long wall required a balanced presentation of both grandeur and subtle details.

The all-round performance of the BSW series stage lighting

600 BSW Spot beam wash three-in-one lamps and 300 IP 400W BSW 3-in-1 lamps became the “all-rounders” on stage. These two types of lights have the triple function of “spot (spot) + beam (beam) + wash (wash)”, which can quickly switch modes according to different performance scenes, eliminating the trouble of frequent equipment replacement.

High-grade waterproof stage lights

Lighting equipment must withstand the dual challenges of high-frequency use and complex weather conditions. All of our lighting systems are IP-rated.

From IP 420W beam lights to IP wall washers, they have undergone rigorous water and dustproof testing.

600 IP 420W beam lights operated continuously for 12 hours at high intensity without losing any beam stability. The IP WASH1940 wall washers also performed well in low-temperature nighttime conditions.

The IP 400W BSW 3-in-1 lights maintained stable cooling systems during three hours of continuous use during the intangible cultural heritage performance, keeping the lamp temperature within a safe range. Even in the scorching summer heat.

600 IP WASH1940 wall washers experienced no flickering or light failures due to overheating. These devices have demonstrated zero operational issues.
